Nature has always been at the heart of Wrendale. The wildlife and landscapes around us continue to inspire every illustration, each one capturing a small moment from the natural world.
Knowing that our gifts and greeting cards are chosen to help in celebrating special occasions, or simply to bring a little joy to someone's day means so much to us.
As a proud B Corp, we are committed to protecting the natural world that inspires everything we create.
In 2019 Jack and I stopped commercial farming on our land in Lincolnshire and began giving it back to nature. Since then it's been incredible to watch the landscape slowly change and wildlife begin to return. Explore some of the moments and milestones we've seen on the farm so far.
Two pigs, Vanessa & Gillian have been introduced to help restore and enhance the habitat, using their natural rooting and foraging behaviours to create varied ground conditions that encourage biodiversity and support a healthier ecosystem.
We reintroduced the first pair of beavers back to Lincolnshire for 400 years in a 70 acre enclosure on the farm. Beavers are keystone species and play a vital role in creating dynamic, biodiverse environments.
We welcomed three miniature Hereford steers named Paddy, Percy and Pedro to our farm. These animals help recreate the natural processes that once shaped our landscape, with their different grazing habits creating a rich and biodiverse ecosystem.
The appearance of Marsh Orchids on the farm is an encouraging sign of the habitat continuing to recover. These delicate wildflowers will only grow where conditions are just right, relying on specific fungi in the soil to help them germinate and thrive.
